I am a 60 year old endurance athlete who grew up running and swimming competitively. I attended college on a running scholarship and afterward moved to NYC where I started a business and then lost myself. Like most of us I sat behind a desk, gained weight, had pain in my back, neck and traps, and immersed myself in an unhealthy life with many responsibilities. Picking up the pieces of who we were is hard. I joined gyms, trained, only to loose momentum from strains, injury, or life. Every failure makes it harder. Eventually I restarted once again but with nutrition, stretching, and swimming. I am now a NASM certified personal trainer and nutritionist who is trained in CPR/AED and Aqua Kinetics. I've spent the last few years working for a hospital run fitness center where we were trained in human anatomy, physiology, exercise science and it's benefits for all clients and safely working with those with compensations and maladies. My strengths include working with people pre and post surgery, deconditioned, and sedentary. Helping them achieve their health and goals utilizing pools, power bands, stability balls, dumbbells, and finding their muscle balance in all plains of motion. I encourage all people to enhance their lives through nutrition.
